Performance

As an organist, Colin has performed on BBC television and radio and toured throughout Europe. He is acclaimed for the breadth of his repertoire and for his accessible recital programmes.

As a pianist, Colin gives recitals and concerto performances at venues throughout the country and has
enjoyed collaborating in piano duet concerts. Colin can offer a range of exciting recital programmes
tailored to the audience.

Weddings

Colin has delighted couples with his talent for producing memorable music for their wedding services. He is happy to discuss with wedding parties the musical possibilities and their particular requests and is able to bring his hire organ to venues so that couples can enjoy the traditional wedding music wherever they get married.

Degree ceremonies

Colin has played for many years at the Warwick University Degree Congregations and has played for tens of thousands of graduands and their families! He has also played for degree ceremonies for Coventry University, Warwickshire College and the Open University and is happy to produce a programme that will celebrate the day's accomplishments and importance and enhance the significance of the graduation ceremony for those in attendance.

Accompanist

Colin is an accomplished accompanist with an enviable reputation for reliability and musical flair. He regularly plays for concerts given by the Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir and the Warwick and Kenilworth Choral Society, and he is regularly engaged by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to accompany student recitals and auditions, and by Warwick University to play for concerts, concerto competitions and the scholarship/bursary audition programme. He has, in recent years, worked with celebrated English bass Sir John Tomlinson and Roderick Williams, one of the country’s most sought-after baritones. Colin is in demand to accompany instrumentalists and singers for their graded examinations, and he has a busy schedule of concert performances with choral societies, singers and instrumental groups. Colin has a prodigious talent for playing at sight, and he has gained a reputation for his ability to step in at the last moment – saving many a concert from disaster!
